The State of Oklahoma is studying Community Gardens and Egg Exchange Cooperatives - AND reporting interim findings tomorrow, Tuesday the 17th, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the State Capitol in 512A. Interested? Here are some of the topics to be presented: - Hunger and poverty in Oklahoma - Community Gardens - what are they and how do they work - Cooperative Egg Exchanges - Nutrition of Fresh Food and how it affects the community - Establish land use protections - Zoning and Permitting challenges Parking information: Public parking is on the south side of the State Capitol in the area designated as VISITOR PARKING – enter through the southeast entrance, visit the security checkpoint. Exit security, do not take the elevator in front of you but the one down the hall to your left to the 5th floor. Room 512A will be in front of you when the elevator doors open on the south side of the rotunda.
