Happy Herefords and Google. The tech giant with an Oklahoma data center keeps greening its operations. Power from a Texas panhandle wind farm will flow into the electricity grid that serves Oklahoma.

These wind power contracts likely will produce far more power than Google actually uses in Oklahoma, so they'll use the remaining Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) to offset their operations elsewhere.
