NATURAL GAS GENERATORS COGENERATION SYSTEMS ON-SITE ELECTRICAL POWER GENERATION NATURAL GAS ENGINES

    OG&E Wind Power
    Business
OGE Energy Corp. or OG&E Electric Services, P.O. Box 321
          Oklahoma City OK 73101-0321

Sign up now for wind powered electricity from OGE. You buy the wind generated electricity in blocks of 100 kilowatt hours. The wind power surcharge is $2/100 kwH, BUT then you are exempt from the fuel adjustment fee, which raises the price per kilowatt hour as the price of natural gas goes up.
If you buy say 8 blocks, 800 kilowatt hours, but you only use 700 kilowatt hours, you still have to pay the 8 blocks surcharge of $2/each, but you aren't charged the underlying kilowatt hour price for the power you didn't use.
You sign up now, but the wind power billings don't actually start until the November billing. Once November hits, you can change your allocation (up or down) with 30 days notice. So if you use less power in the winter than in the summer, you can sign up for your average amount in the winter, and then say May 1st call to increase your wind power allocation for the summer months, and then call say Sept 1 to decrease it for the summer.
